ALPIN HAUS FITNESS CENTER CLASS PROGRAMS

Alpin Haus Fitness Center offers fitness classes for everyone. Learn more about our classes below and view the class schedule then visit us at our Amsterdam 30N location.

Most classes include at least a five minute warm up at the beginning of the class and a five minute cool down at the end of each class prior to a segment of abdominal work.

A FIVE MINUTE STRETCH CONCLUDES ALL CLASSES!

We try to accommodate all fitness levels in our classes.

If you are a beginner, we welcome you and will do our best to offer modifications to ensure your success in every class! If you are an experienced exerciser, we will do our best to challenge you!

GET FIT, HAVE FUN!!

  • Modifications will be offered as an option in most classes.
  • Every participant is encouraged to work at their own fitness level.
  • A proper warm up is essential.
  • Proper footwear is required in all cardio/cardio with weights/resistance training, strength and resistance, and spinning class.
  • Our schedules (classes and times) are subject to change.
  • In the event of inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, we may have to cancel a class.

ABS, BUTT & THIGHS

This 45-minute class is specifically designed to target the abdominals, glutes and thighs! Standing and floor series with weights (bring your own mat). Fun and challenging for all levels


CARDIO & STRENGTH-VIRTUAL

This 45-minute class combines intervals of cardio and strength training. With sneakers on and light hand-weights ready to go, be prepared to have fun and work up a nice little sweat doing so!

CORE STABILITY

A 45-minute class in the fitness room designed to engage you core spinal stabilizers. Many of the movements are performed on a large exercise ball which helps to develop better body awareness, balance and proprioception. Perfect for all levels.

GET STRONG!

This 45-minute class is a whole body strengthening class. After a thorough warm-up this interval training class utilizes hand weights and/or weighted body bars. First 30 minutes standing and last 15 minutes on the mat (bring your own mat). Go at your own pace. Fun and challenging for all levels. Bring your water bottle.


POUND®

Channel your inner rockstar with this full body 45-minute cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. *RipStixs are available for sale at the front desk at AHF.

STRETCH & FLEX

This one hour class in the fitness room is a great way stretch and flex! Perfect for all fitness levels. Bring your own mat.

WEIGHTS & CORE

Get strong with this 45-minute class that utilizes hand weights and weighted body bars. Fun and challenging for all fitness levels. Great music! Bring water bottle and your own mat.



SPINNING CLASS

ALL LEVELS CYCLING

This fun cycling class is offered three times a week! 45 minutes each – a great workout with motivating music. Perfect for all levels. Bring a water bottle and hand towel as you will sweat!!!

SPINNING

All classes include a warm up of at least five minutes and a cool down of at least five minutes and a light stretch. Also included in each class is instruction on how to determine the appropriate seat height, seat distance from the pedals, handle bar height, and proper use of the resistance dial and how to make those adjustments.

CYCLE: HIIT

Come and enjoy this high intensity interval training cycling class! Intervals of hills, speed drills, and variant paces. Fun and challenging!


CYCLE: HILLS + DRILLS

Join this higher intensity indoor cycling class focused on hill work and interval training with great music to motivate you!

INDOOR CYCLING

This Saturday indoor cycling class has been a favorite at Alpin Haus Fitness for years! All levels welcome. Make to sign up online and ARRIVE EARLY for safety briefing and warm-up.

CYCLE: EARLY MORNING ENDURANCE

Another great early morning WAKE-UP and RIDE class. This class focuses a little bit more on endurance training and is great for all levels.


SUNDAY MORNING CYCLE

Enjoy a great Sunday morning indoor cycle class. Suited for all levels.

TOTAL BODY WORKOUT (VIRTUAL)

This 45-minute virtual interval class is designed to strengthen and stretch the whole body. Light weights and an all-enclosed resistance band utilized (tights tied in a knot work too!) as well as a yoga mat for the core. This class is great for all fitness levels.

YOGA CLASSES

 

BELLY DANCE BOOTCAMP (VIRTUAL)

This 45-minute dynamic and fun bellydance and weight training interval class really tones the shoulders, hips and core. A scarf or bellydance coin-skirt tied around the waist makes it more so! This low-impact class is great for all levels.

GENTLE YOGA-LIVE & (VIRTUAL)

This one-hour gentle yoga class is an AHF member favorite! Gentle yoga to support all levels and all needs. Many different variations and modifications are offered. Emphasis on connecting the mind and body with the breath as you move into different postures. Bring your own mat.

PILATES SCULPT

Improve core strength, balance, coordination and overall body strength. Based on Pilates, you may use resistance bands and stability balls. Mat work will consist of the 100 series, cris-cross, single leg teaser, roll up…leg work – fire hydrant, leg circles leg lifts, clamshell, etc. The total body workout will hit every muscle.


HOT VINYASA FLOW

This a great hot, sweaty, detoxifying yoga flow class! Postures are strung together in a flow sequence with breath and alignment cues. Music is played. Bring water and towel!

WARM CANDLELIGHT FLOW

Balance both your body and your mind in this warm candlelight vinyasa flow class. Suitable for all levels this class will center you on your breath, warm up your joints and muscles, and both strengthen and stretch you.

WARM WARRIOR FLOW

This hatha-vinyasa flow class offers the creative and intelligent Hot Warrrior Yoga Flow in a warm instead of hot environment. This 60 minute class will leave you strong and stretched, rejuvenated and relaxed!


PILATES YOGA FUSION

A wonderful blend of contemporary and classical pilates mat techniques, modern core yoga and classical hatha yoga.

SLOW FLOW YOGA

This 45-minute class incorporates breath, movement and music. After a nice warm-up, this class utilizes sun salutations to link standing postures together. Slow and steady, this class will have you feeling strong and supple, energized and relaxed. Great for all levels. Bring water bottle and your own mat.

HOT 26

Hot Hatha Yoga – hold your postures, control your breathing and detoxify. Same 26 postures every time we practice.


HAPPY HIPS YOGA

This great yoga class focuses primarily on strengthening and stretching the hip area. Perfect class for everyone – especially if you have tight hips!

BUTI YOGA

Unlike other Buti® trademarked formats, DEEP is low-impact and focuses on micro-movements with physical touch to connect the brain to innervated muscle and restructure the deep core. This 45-minute class is fun for all levels. Bring your own mat

ALL LEVEL YOGA

This Saturday morning yoga class is a great way to start your weekend! One-hour, all level yoga class, will both strengthen you and stretch you out. Bring water your own mat.


CORE FLOW

This 45-minute class is a core-strengthening vinyasa flow class. Moderately paced Sun Salutations are woven throughout the class with longer held postures to strengthen and stabilize muscles and bones. Standing and floor series included. Bring your own mat.

EVENING REST & RELAXATION

This lovely one-hour evening class is the such a treat! Slower and gentler movements ease the tension from the body. You will leaving feeling so rested and so relaxed. Perfect for all yoga levels. Bring your own mat.

PILATES POWER

This 45-minute dynamic and fun class incorporate the strength, stability and mobility principles of pilates, ballet and yoga. Focus is on deep core muscles as well as muscles of shoulder girdle and hip girdle! Fun and challenging for all levels.


YIN YOGA (VIRTUAL)

Yin yoga is a style of yoga with longer held floor postures for a deep release of tightness and tension. Relaxing and calming, this class is perfect way to recover and restore. Perfect for all yoga levels.

BALLET BAR FITNESS (VIRTUAL)

This energizing 45-minute class focuses on ballet barre and mat techniques incorporated into a more fitness interval model. Light weights and a chair are recommended.
