Mike’s Training Tips & Workout: Running Inspired

Set aside at least 20-30 minutes a day for some cardio exercise. Even if it’s a brisk walk, a light jog, or kayaking with a friend, a little bit of movement is better than none.
It’s best to do this first thing in the morning to set a positive tone for the rest of the day

Workout of the month: Running Inspired

4 Days a Week:

  • Monday: 2-3 miles
  • Tuesday: Rest (or Cross-Train)
  • Wednesday: 3-4 miles
  • Thursday: Rest (or Cross-Train)
  • Friday: Start with 4 miles and increase by a mile each week
  • Saturday: Light Jog (or Cross-Train)
  • Sunday: Rest

Check out my Third Thursday Tip-of-the-Day on Instagram and Facebook to see more on how to do some of these exercises! As always, feel free to ask me any questions when you see me
at the gym or at the front desk, or make an appointment for a one-on-one personal training session, or join in on one of my group circuit training classes (M-W-F 6am or Tuesday -Thursday 4:30pm $15 drop-in rate).
