Mike’s Training Tips & Workout: Tabata HIIT

With summer coming to an end and school starting back up, this time of year can be a little stressful. Now is a good time to focus on your quality of sleep to help ease stress and aid recovery. Aim for around 7-8 hours of sleep and the next day you’ll feel more energetic and productive throughout the day!

Workout of the Month: 20-minute Tabata HIIT

Perform 8 rounds of each exercise

  • Lunge Jumps 20 seconds
    • 10 second rest
  • Dumbbell Thrusters 20 seconds
    • 10 second rest
  • Knee to Elbow Plank 20 seconds
    • 10 second rest
  • Alternating Side Lunges 20 seconds
    • 10 second rest
  • Lying Leg Raises 20 seconds
    • 10 second rest
