World Snowboard Day 2011 will take place on Sunday, December 18th and we are planning some special deals for our boarders. Both Alpin Haus Ski Shop locations (Clifton Park Center and Route 30 in Amsterdam) will have Tune-Up Specials and offer snowboards at 15% off all day. Our experienced staff of skiers and boarders will be available to help out with questions and to help get you properly fitted for the season.

Each January we here at Alpin Haus support the Learn to Ski and Snowboard initiative along with our friends throughout the snow sports industry. It poses the perfect opportunity for those who have not had a chance to try out skiing or snowboarding to hit the slopes. One program in particular, NY 4th Grade Ski & Ride Passport makes available free skiing for kids (with a paying adult) and offers learn to ski packages.
